What is the INMOTION X1?

The X1 is INMOTION's forthcoming electric unicycle with a dedicated technical off-road focus. INMOTION's manufacturer articles, published on 16 October 2026, describe a wheel intended for experienced trail riders, with attention to suspension, climbing response and repairability.

What has INMOTION confirmed about the X1?

INMOTION describes three connected design priorities. These are manufacturer descriptions of the platform, not EUNI ride-test results or a final Australian specification sheet.

  • Suspension for repeated impacts: a focus on managing successive bumps and maintaining control on technical surfaces.
  • Power delivery for climbing: emphasis on steep starts and sustained off-road loads, rather than a published road-speed claim.
  • Protection and serviceability: reinforced construction and a modular approach that allows selected vulnerable components to be replaced individually.

Why are Australian off-road riders watching this wheel?

For EUNI, the interesting question is how the X1 will fit a serious rider's complete setup: the terrain, the transport, the maintenance and the support behind it. Our Australian shortlist starts with five practical questions:

  • Can the suspension be set up appropriately for the rider and their protective gear?
  • How does the production wheel respond during controlled, low-speed technical riding?
  • What will the confirmed weight and dimensions mean for loading it into a vehicle?
  • Which tyres, consumables and replacement components will be available locally?
  • What will the Australian package, service arrangements and total ownership costs include?

These are our assessment priorities, not claims that EUNI has tested the X1. Share your current wheel, your state and the riding you want to do when you enquire. We can discuss what matters to your next purchase.

Who should consider the X1?

INMOTION positions the X1 for experienced EUC riders who regularly ride technical terrain and are willing to spend time on setup and maintenance. It is not presented as the default first wheel for someone learning to balance and brake. Read the manufacturer's X1 rider-fit guide.

Off-road riding still requires suitable protective equipment, progressive practice and permission to use your chosen location. Check the rules and land-manager requirements where you intend to ride.

How much will the INMOTION X1 cost in Australia?

The AUD price is to be confirmed. Overseas prices, deposits or estimates should not be treated as EUNI's Australian selling price.

When is the INMOTION X1 global launch in Sydney time?

The confirmed global launch is at 4:00 am AEDT on Wednesday 21 October 2026 in Sydney, corresponding to 20 October 2026 at 10:00 am Pacific Time in Los Angeles.

When will the INMOTION X1 be available in Australia?

Australian stock arrival and EUNI availability are to be confirmed. The global launch announcement does not confirm when Australian stock will be available. Contact EUNI for local availability updates.
