Choosing between the LeaperKim Sherman P and Lynx S? The Sherman P is the option to consider when a larger battery is your priority and you can wait for an order-on-demand wheel. The Lynx S is the option to consider when its 2700Wh battery suits your riding plans and you want to buy from EUNI’s current local stock. At the time of checking, Sherman P is A$6,499 and the stocked Lynx S standard configuration is A$6,150.
This guide covers the Lynx S, also written Lynx-S. It is a different model from the original Veteran Lynx. Recommendations here are based on current EUNI ordering information and the specifications identified below. EUNI has no Sherman P units in stock; this article does not present firsthand Sherman P ride testing.
Sherman P vs Lynx S: what are the main differences?
The clearest differences are battery capacity, purchase price and availability. Sherman P has a stated 4700Wh battery and is ordered on demand. Lynx S has a stated 2700Wh battery, with standard and accessory-bundle configurations currently in stock at EUNI.

Does the Sherman P’s larger battery mean more range?
The Sherman P has 2000Wh more stated battery capacity than the Lynx S: 4700Wh compared with 2700Wh. That is approximately 74% more stored energy by the listed capacity figures. It is not a promise of 74% more riding distance.
Battery capacity, measured in watt-hours (Wh), describes an amount of energy. Riding distance also depends on how quickly that energy is used. Rider and luggage weight, terrain, tyre pressure, temperature, riding style and speed all affect consumption. A fair range comparison would require both wheels to be tested under comparable conditions.
For a rider planning longer outings with fewer charging opportunities, the Sherman P’s larger battery is a reason to put it on the shortlist. If your normal riding already fits comfortably within the range you achieve from a 2700Wh wheel, buying more capacity may be less important than your preferred setup and when you need the wheel.
The Sherman P brochure’s range figures are manufacturer laboratory data. EUNI has not established a measured Sherman P versus Lynx S range result for this guide.
Which wheel should I choose if I want to ride sooner?
Lynx S is the current local-stock choice at EUNI. The standard 50S model with tubeless tyre, powerpad bundle, and powerpad plus lowering kit bundle all had available stock when this guide was checked. Choose the actual available option and confirm dispatch or collection arrangements with our team.
Sherman P is preorder only and ordered on demand. Its estimated lead time is approximately eight weeks from order confirmation to arrival at EUNI’s warehouse. EUNI will prepare and dispatch your wheel within 2 business days after it arrives at our warehouse. Domestic transit takes additional time. International production and freight can affect the estimate.
That distinction matters if you are planning a trip or replacing your only wheel. A future warehouse estimate is different from an available local unit. If a particular date matters to you, contact EUNI with your deadline and postcode before paying so we can discuss the current options.
How do the current Australian prices compare?
The Sherman P’s A$6,499 price is A$349 above the A$6,150 Lynx S standard configuration. Use the price of the option you actually intend to buy when comparing the two.
- Lynx S standard 50S model with tubeless tyre: A$6,150.
- Lynx S powerpad bundle: A$6,300.
- Lynx S powerpad and lowering kit bundle: A$6,500.
- Sherman P preorder: A$6,499.

What should I check beyond the battery and price?
Check the exact setup and how you will handle the wheel when you are not riding. The Sherman P’s stated net weight is approximately 52kg. Think through car loading, steps and storage before committing to that model, and ask EUNI to confirm the ready-to-use weight of your selected setup.
For either model, tyre choice, suspension configuration, powerpads and pedal position deserve attention. Both listings describe adjustable hydraulic suspension, but an adjustment feature alone does not tell you which setup will suit your weight, experience and intended terrain. Discuss those details with our team instead of assuming a spring or tyre shown in a photograph is the one supplied.
Use the full model name when checking parts. Lynx S and the original Lynx are distinct models; a listing for one does not establish fitment for the other. EUNI can help check the selected wheel and accessories and discuss electric unicycle servicing and repairs in Sydney.
Which model makes more sense for my priorities?
Start with the requirement that is hardest for you to compromise on. A larger battery, a particular setup and local availability solve different problems; the more suitable wheel depends on your riding plans.
- Put Sherman P first on your shortlist if the 4700Wh battery addresses a real need for additional energy capacity, you can manage its stated 52kg net weight, and the estimated preorder wait fits your plans.
- Put Lynx S first on your shortlist if a 2700Wh setup suits your needs and buying a currently stocked wheel is your priority. Compare its standard and accessory-bundle options against your complete budget.
- Ask for individual advice first if you are learning to ride, regularly need to lift your wheel, or are uncertain about tyre and suspension choices. Neither a higher price nor a larger battery establishes suitability for every rider.
Before using either wheel, check the applicable local rules for the places you intend to ride, follow the model’s manual and use appropriate protective equipment. Specifications do not establish permission to ride on public roads or trails. NSW buyers can consult the NSW Government’s prohibited-vehicles guidance; riders elsewhere should check their own state or territory authority.
Common Sherman P and Lynx S buying questions
Is the Sherman P in stock in Australia at EUNI?
No. EUNI has no Sherman P stock and orders units on demand. The estimate is approximately eight weeks to EUNI’s warehouse from order confirmation. EUNI will prepare and dispatch your wheel within 2 business days after it arrives at our warehouse. Domestic transit takes additional time.
Is the Lynx S available at EUNI now?
Yes, the standard Lynx S and both accessory bundles were in stock when checked on 16 October 2026. Stock changes, so check the selected option on the product page or ask EUNI before making plans around delivery.
Is the Lynx S the same wheel as the original Lynx?
No. This comparison concerns the Lynx S. Check the full model name and configuration when comparing specifications, ordering accessories or asking for service.
Is the Sherman P automatically the better buy because it has a larger battery?
No. Its 4700Wh battery may suit riders who need more energy capacity, but you still need to account for the stated 52kg net weight, your setup and the preorder lead time. Lynx S may be the more practical purchase when its 2700Wh capacity meets your needs and local availability matters.
